Seattle Area oppo Meet?

Hello my fellow seattle oppos! I was wondering, because of our utter lack of winter, if you ladies and gents would be up for a little car meet between us in a few weeks time?

So far, this is just an idea, but I was thinking, weather permitting (that means it isn't Seattlieng, as usual) we could do a meet the weekend of the 14th, or the weekend of the 21st.

I was thinking we could make this some form of multi-hour event, and meet up at Golden Gardens park, in Seattle proper. There' we could make some food on an outdoor grille, chat, and oogle each other's cars!

Then again I'm not sure if I'd be able to show up, because I'll be spending a lot of time with my family. It'd be really awesome though!

AudiforLife and I have been thinking considering arranging one after our Portland meetup. We were thinking doing it at or after Exotics at Redmond since we'll probably be up there for the event anyways.

Foxbodymiata and I were talking about it last night. Blacktruck is down Tacoma area so is Ddavid and I think Featherthrottlenothair is down around Auburn. Satoshi is in downtown.

Did you consider doing it at or in conjunction with another (brand-neutral) event... Might make it a little easier to coax people into showing up if it's worked around a larger gathering. Like a Griots event or Exotics like someone else mentioned..

This is a fantastic idea, I should probably be able to make it.

Two problems: First, those are the bookends on my GF's spring break so she'll be home and we'll be busy... BUT she's quickly becoming one of us so she might very well want to come. Second: I have two cars, both of which don't run. Maybe not wanting to show up in a borrowed grey appliance will be the extra motivation I need to get the subie running!
